Casolin, SE 400 - Created specifically for the small to medium size shop. Casolin, Top Digit I - The Top Digit I is Adwood's standard machine with tilting arbor. Its basic specifications are anything but basic. Built on a tension free frame and powered by a 9hp motor, the Top Digit I features a 1 25" cutting length and a 5 1 " cutting width. Its long list of standard equipment includes: miter fence, over arm guard with dust hood, scoring unit, dado capability, three position sliding table lock and electrical tilt/lift. Agazzani, Bandsaws - A complete series of heavy-duty bandsaws that provide the utmost in precision cutting and operator safety. Production features include: cast-iron flywheels with lining of special vulcanized rubber, hand wheel control of upper saw blade and a tension indicator that can be mounted on either side of the blade. Safety features include: cut-off switch for overloads, short circuits and current failures, micro switch at the doors, automatic motor brake, total (4-side) blade protection. Each machine can be customized for use with a wide variety of materials.

Elcon, DSX - Powerful, versatile panel saws that are also remarkably affordable. Features include fast changeover to either vertical and horizontal cutting, variable sawing depth for easy plunging, and a trouble-free scoring unit which guarantees chip-free cuts. The saw-blade is completely shielded for greater operator safety. Each machine has a self-supporting frame and is available in a variety of sizes and custom-made lengths.

The new EB 120 and EB 120L panel sizing machines are the perfect blend of proven technology and innovative solutions. Together with a wide range of options for a limited investment, the main features of the SELCO machine consist of a high cutting quality, excellent positioning precision and a powerful, user friendly numeric control which together make it an extremely reliable product.

The special base structure and the guideways positioning, covered by international patent, assure the perfect weight distribution of the saw carriage on the guides themselves, thus eliminating possible deflection which could negatively influence the cutting quality. The absence of saw blade vibrations is also assured by the top guide which is positioned right beside the saw blade hub. The machine main base consists of a monobloc heavy duty normalized frame structure and strong supports assuring its perfect stability. The saw carriage guideways are located on the monobloc structure thus assuring their perfect parallelism and rectilinearity. The guides are ground and hardened to assure long durability and accuracy. The extremely linear movement of the saw carriage up to a maximum speed of 100 m/min is obtained by a Brushless servomotor with digital technology, installed on the saw carriage itself. This fact ensures a real CNC control without any use of sensors or microswitches.

The main saw blade projection is automatically adjusted in relation to the thickness of the stack to be cut, thus obtaining the best cutting quality under any working condition.

The extreme precision and rigidity of the independent raising and lowering movements of saw blades are obtained by means of linear ball bushing bearings sliding on ground and hardened round steel bars. Note also the robust cable-holding track assuring the optimal movement of electric cables.

CTD Model PF200 12" Automatic Push Feed Cut-Off Saw - The PF200 uses our time tested 200 Series Cut-Off Saw in combination with a lineal positioner to push feed material and automatically cut it to an assortment of predetermined lengths. You can also download a cut list from a variety of programs with optional software. This integration of the 200 Series Saw and Tigerstop lineal positioner make for a unique Automatic Cut-Off System. The PF200 uses a 16' positioner or feeder (will feed up 12' long material—longer lengths available) to feed, clamp and cut wood, plastics, or aluminum.

CTD Model A480E Automatic Feed 16" & 20' High Speed Cut-Off Saw - The CTD Model A480E has ben specifically engineered for accurate production sawing of non-ferrous metals, plastics and woods. The A480E automatically feeds materials through the machine, clamps it, and saws pieces to a predetermined length within +/- .005.
The automatic barfeed and controlling air circuit are operated by an electronic programmable controller and electric switches for easy service.
The A480E uses our time tested 400 Series saw head offering assured precision cutting. Three independent holding vises are used, one to feed the material, and one on each side of the blade. The vises are keyed and movable front to back for easy adjustment of different widths of material.

CTD Model A480E - CNC Programmable Automatic Feed Cut-Off Saw - The CTD Model A480E—CNC is a computer Numerically controlled version of the A480E pictured on the previous page. Instead of using a Precision measuring device for the length measurement, a servo controlled linear actuating cylinder determines the length stroke. A small touch screen function center prompts the operator through the different functions and set-ups on the machine. The automatic length feed and controlling air circuit are operated by an electronic programmable controller for easy service.

RazorOptimal Overview
Like all RazorGage products, RazorOptimal is built to lead the industry in
reliability, accuracy, and ease of use without wreaking havoc on your bank
account. The RazorOptimal system includes all the components listed above
as well as RazorDesktop software used to import multiple orders from you
cabinet design software into a single editable database to which you may add
grading information or input locations for optional Space Ball™ Insertion, or
Face Frame Scribing.
Downloading
The RazorOptimal system allows the operator to download the saved
RazorDesktop database via Ethernet™, appends it to the current running
database, and sorts it into TYPES by species, thickness, and width. You can
process TYPES as they appear, navigate among them, or jump out to
MANUAL mode and back as needed.
Defecting
Defecting boards is accomplished digitally using the Cast Aluminum Joystick to
position the Line Laser at the start of a defect and depressing one of the two
Defect Grading Triggers while dragging the line across the defect then
releasing it on the other side. Defects can be digitized in any order or totally at
random. When finished, press a thumb button to identify the end of the board
and the RazorOptimal software searches the database selecting parts that will
make the optimal use of the clear wood available.
Sawing
Load the part into the pusher and press GO. The RazorOptimal will feed the
part, cycle the saw, and print labels while you continue to queue defected
boards.
Productivity Modules
Productivity Modules allow the RazorOptimal to Optimize your Payback by
performing other tasks inline in addition to sawing. Parts are flagged for scribe
locations, and Space Ball™ locations in the Optimal Desktop software. The
Scribing Module pre-marks face frame parts to increase throughput and
accuracy at the layout table. The Space Ball™ Module inserts Space Balls™
into pre-moulded door stock.

SPEED: The Whirlwind Model 1000-S is designed to operate at speeds of up to 90 cycles per minute. Each cycle is cushioned by a heavy duty shock absorber for smooth operation at high speed. Cycle speed can be adjusted with a screwdriver. Several customers have reported that one of our saws can outperform 2 radial arm saws for cut-off work

SAFETY: The Whirlwind Model 1000-S is an under-cut style saw. That means the blade remains in the heavy steel base until the cut is made. The cast aluminum guard / clamp holds the material in place throughout the cutting cycle. This prevents dangerous kick-back commonly seen on radial saws.The guard/clamp and base also protect the operator from debris and broken carbide tips. We use cast iron for the table top so we can provide a recessed area for the operators hands. The raised lip between this recessed area and the blade acts as a barrier. An operators hands should never leave this area while operating this saw. Our patented "Work Presence Sensor" provides yet another level of protection. An air hose with blowgun is attached to the side of the saw. This should be used for clearing chips and sawdust from the saw. WARNING: NEVER PLACE YOUR FINGERS UNDER THE GUARD/CLAMP OR THE SENSOR.

ACCURACY: Whirlwind saws are famous for their accuracy. The blade is supported by a heavy chrome-moly spindle in a massive steel housing. Bearing mounts are widely spaced. This design gives precise cuts even after years of use. Our machines are manufactured using the latest C.N.C. equipment for consistent accuracy and interchangeability of parts. To make sure you are getting the best product possible, we run every machine for 4 hours prior to shipment. This attention to detail gives you the kind of accuracy and reliability you've come to expect from Whirlwind cut-off saws!
